District Team
The people who help make Burton District possible.
Our volunteer team works tirelessly to keep the us welcoming, safe and adventure-ready.
Behind Rangemore Scout Centre is a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the site remains welcoming, safe and ready for adventure. Their passion, commitment and countless hours of hard work help make Rangemore the fantastic facility it is today.
The campsite team is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and ongoing development of the centre. From maintaining the grounds and woodland areas to improving facilities, coordinating bookings and supporting visiting groups, the team plays a vital role in ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
Much of the work carried out at Rangemore happens behind the scenes. Regular maintenance, repairs, upgrades and site improvements all help keep the centre operating to a high standard while continuing to evolve to meet the needs of modern Scouting and visiting groups. Recent investments, including upgraded washroom facilities and ongoing site enhancements, are a reflection of the team’s commitment to continuous improvement.
The team shares a common goal: to provide an outstanding campsite and activity centre that supports adventure, learning and skills for life for generations to come. Their dedication ensures Rangemore remains a valuable resource not only for Burton District Scouts, but for all groups and organisations who visit the site.
