The Centre is a brick built, two storey, gas centrally heated building which fully complies to the current fire regulations.


Ground Floor

The entrance lobby leads onto the disabled bedroom which sleeps 4 and has en-suite wet room and the 8m x 9m large meeting room. There is a pay phone in the lobby.

The large room has an open fireplace and is equipped with tables and chairs.

Off this room is the kitchen and the ground floor toilets.  The kitchen is fitted with a double sink, stainless steel worktops throughout.  It is equipped with a catering sized gas cooker, electric high level grills, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezers, cooking pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery.  Cleaning Materials, washing up liquid and Tea Towels are supplied

The ground floor toilets are shared with campers and have male, female and disabled toilets, all with token operated electric showers.  In addition, there is a sink for use by campers for washing cooking equipment, etc.


The First Floor

 From the entrance lobby there is a concrete staircase to the first floor.  On this floor is the sleeping accomodation for 24 persons in 7 dormitories.  There are also 5 spare matresses which can be used on the floor.  There are 4 dormitories which sleep 4, and 2 dormitories which sleep 2.  Each room is fitted with a wash basin.

The small adult or leaders dormitory sleeps 4 and has en-suite toilet and electric shower.

All beds have matresses, duvets and pillows and each person is supplied with a freshly laundered duvet cover, fitted sheet and pillow case.

There are male and female toilets with wash basins and token operated electric showers.

There is also a 5m x 6m adult or leaders lounge with television, video and stereo – which is handy for relaxing in the evening whilst the children are getting off to sleep, or using as a meeting room.



Vistors are expected to clean the building prior to departure, cleaning aids and all cleaning materials are provided.
